Organised by Binaural Nodar with the support of the Municipality of Vouzela, the civil parish union of Cambra and Carvalhal de Vermilhas and the Carvalhal de Vermilhas Recreational and Cultural Association

Having its epicentre in the mountain village of Vermilhas, the first artist residency of “The singing of springs” cycle of artist residencies is taking place, the theme of which is the ancestral relationship between rural communities and vernacular forms of water management.

The final presentation of this artist residency will take place on June 29th from 7pm at the premises of the Carvalhal de Vermilhas Recreational and Cultural Association. In addition to the presentation of three artistic projects by Mila Panić, Christina Tsantekidou and Daniel Lercher, will feature a partnership with the Cine Clube de Viseu, which will screen two short films related to the theme of the artist residency: “Água Mole”, an animated short by Laura Gonçalves and Alexandra Ramires, and “Misericórdia”, a fiction short by Gonçalo Loureiro, filmed in the municipalities of Vouzela and Oliveira de Frades.
