Binaural Nodar, as co-producer of “This show couldn’t have any other name than IVONE!” by Rui Catalão, is pleased to announce its next public presentation, to take place at Teatro das Figuras (Faro), on the 27th of April at 9.30 pm.
“This show couldn’t have any other name than IVONE!” is a first-person account of the feeling of abandonment and dependence that guided the growth of a Cape Verdean girl. The character of Ivone (whose stories were collected by the Luso-Guinean journalist Madiu Furtado) shares a similar way of life with the performers of the play: the incredible adventure of the African diaspora.
