Mila Panić proposes a performance/sound installation consisting of collected recordings of water sounds imitated by the local population. For the final presentation, she will compose a song from these sounds. She also organized the open mic event in Vermilhas, which gave locals the opportunity to speak publicly, tell jokes, sing or complain. At the final event, in addition to the sound installation, she will also set up a communal break where participants can cool their feet in a simple mixture of water and salt to experience a moment of calm, reflection and the art of leisurely enjoyment, as practiced by the working population.

Mila Panic is a Bosnian born artist, researcher and aspiring comedian.
An initiator of the Fully Funded Residencies Association. She also started an online platform with the intent to publicize open calls, assisting other artists with residency opportunities while sharing experiences and critical reflection on the AiR programme.
