Published by Binaural Nodar, with the support of the Municipality of Viseu, the Calde Parish Council and the Sound Map of Uruguay.

On January 25th, the community of Várzea de Calde was presented with the bilingual book (Portuguese and Spanish) entitled “Echoes of the gift: “Traditional community health practices in rural areas of Portugal and Uruguay”, which brings together eleven texts by Uruguayan anthropologist Ana Rodríguez, written during various stays in Várzea de Calde and in various areas of northern Uruguay, as well as photographic essays by Liliana Silva and María Puppo and sound essays by Ana Rodríguez herself, giving the publication the status of an expanded book.

The book is bilingual, in Portuguese and Spanish, has 176 pages and dozens of color photographs.

It costs 20 euros and is on sale at the Várzea de Calde Linen Museum and can be bought to be sent by post, with interested parties sending an email to info@binauralmedia.org.
