PRAXIS AND POIESIS 1.1.5.6.
Group exhibition

From 6th to 16th June 2024
Aveiro Museum | Santa Joana (Aveiro)

Binaural Nodar was delighted to collaborate in the preparation of the group exhibition Praxis e Poiesis 1.1.5.6, organized by the Art Studies Area of the Department of Communication and Art at the University of Aveiro and featuring works by students from the Master’s Degree in Contemporary Artistic Creation and the Doctoral Programme in Artistic Creation and guest researchers.

Among the works on display was “Two Brotherly Hills” by Luís Costa, coordinator of Binaural Nodar, a poetic mixed-media reflection on the link between two hills located 300 kilometres apart (Pico Sacro, Santiago de Compostela and Monte de São Macário, São Pedro do Sul).

On the other hand, some of the works on display were developed in the context of the artist residency that Binaural Nodar and the Master’s Degree in Contemporary Artistic Creation organised in Vouzela last May, the 13th edition of this long-standing collaboration between the two organisations.

Photographs by Liliana Silva, Ana Margarida Ferreira and Janilca Rodrigues.

Binaural Nodar is a cultural organization supported by the Portuguese Republic – Culture | Directorate-General for the Arts.
