Municipality of Vouzela
For the thirteenth year, the artist residency “The Art of the Caramulan Encounter” took place in the Municipality of Vouzela, a co-production between the Master of Contemporary Artistic Creation of the University of Aveiro (MCAC/UA) and Binaural Nodar, with logistical support from the Municipality of Vouzela.
Between the 2nd and 5th of May, the town of Vouzela was once again the stage for this collaborative artist residency, with the presence of MCAC/UA professors and students, who took part in a soundscape workshop and worked on adapting their artistic works to outdoor and indoor locations in Vouzela.
We would like to thank all the participants for their enthusiasm and sense of collaboration, as well as the Municipality of Vouzela and Father Ricardo Oliveira, for making space available for the presentation of some of the artworks, respectively at the Municipal Museum of Vouzela and the Chapel of São Frei Gil.
