INSITU – NATURE IMAGE FESTIVAL
Photographic exhibition | “Mediterranean Threats: Sea Conservation is Everyone’s Hands” by Javier Murcia.
May 06th to 31st | Binaural Nodar room
On May 6th at 11:00 am, the photographic exhibition by Javier Murcia “Threats of the Mediterranean: conservation of the sea is in everyone’s hands” opens at Lafões Cult Lab (Vouzela).
With this exhibition, the Spanish photographer intends to draw attention to the importance of increasing individual and collective responsibility for the conservation of our seas and oceans, unveiling a set of images that expose the profound human impact on the fragile submerged nature, often hidden from our to look. One of the most shocking problems is plastics, which not only contaminate the waters and the coastline, but also affect all marine fauna, contribute to the destruction of habitats and repeatedly cause the death of countless species of fauna.
