São Miguel do Mato hosted the public presentation of “Templo Erguido”

The History of the New Church of São Miguel do Mato

Last Saturday, December 17th, the documentary “Templo Erguido: The History of the New Church of São Miguel do Mato”, directed by Liliana Silva, was presented at the crypt of the New Church of São Miguel do Mato, in Moçâmedes.

This documentary reconstructs the history of the process that led to the inauguration, in 1956, of the new Parish Church of São Miguel do Mato.

“Templo Erguido” (“Erected Temple”) is an organization of the Municipality of Vouzela, with production by Binaural Nodar and support from VOUZELAR – Association for the Promotion of Vouzela and the Parish of São Miguel do Mato.

Binaural Nodar is a professional cultural entity, co-financed with biennial support from the General Directorate of Arts.
