The retrospective exhibition “Between times and places: 10 years of MCAC/UA and Binaural Nodar artist residencies” opened on April 7th at DeCA – Department of Communication and Art of the University of Aveiro. The opening was attended by a vice-rector of the University of Aveiro, by the Director of DeCA, Prof. Dr. Ana Veloso, by the direction of the Master of Contemporary Artistic Creation and by a large audience, namely composed of former and current students of the aforementioned master’s degree.
The exhibition consists in a spatio-temporal panel with 150 photographs that covers each of the artist residencies held in the region of Lafões between 2011 and 2021 in co-production between Binaural Nodar and MCAC/UA and in five interactive works created by students of the Art Installation Project module, based on audiovisual and sound documentation from artist residencies and from the Binaural Nodar Digital Archive.
