Binaural Nodar, in collaboration with the Municipality of Vouzela, announces a call of applications for hosting at Lafões.Cult.Lab (Rua do Seixo nº 5 in Vouzela) of concerts, rehearsals, co-productions, workshops, lectures and other cultural initiatives in the areas of music, theater, poetry and cross-disciplinary arts, with special emphasis on proposals from the region of Lafões (São Pedro do Sul, Vouzela and Oliveira de Frades).
Applications can be submitted throughout the year, via email info@binauralmedia.org, either individually or by associations, informal groups or amateur and professional companies, mentioning the purpose and concept of the proposal, the time period of the actions, logistical needs, the financial framework and other aspects considered relevant.
After the initiatives are approved, their communication must be carried out jointly by the entities involved, thus enhancing their visibility and attracting new audiences.
The objective that Binaural Nodar proposes with this call for proposals is that the Lafões.Cult.Lab space can be a meeting place between cultural agents in the region, promoting new projects and future articulations, taking into account the imperative need to overcome the isolation of these recent times.
Basically, it is also through the effort to “build mutual help communities” that a territory like Lafões will be able to foster greater cohesion among its cultural agents.
Lafões.Cult.Lab was inaugurated in 2016, having hosted so far several cultural activities developed by local and international entities, such as concerts, artist residencies, exhibitions, conferences, workshops and rehearsals.
