Viseu Rural 2.0 project, a co-organization of Binaural/Nodar and the Municipality of Viseu has crossed many rural paths of Viseu, interacting with people, listening to the rustle of the water, sonically activating landscapes, creating radio documentaries and audiovisual pieces for a retrospective exhibition (patent at Casa das Memórias in Viseu until April 17th, 2016).
Viseu Rural 2.0 continues this year with more recordings, educational programs, concerts in rural context and two retrospective exhibitions. From all this we will give account throughout the year, and the project this year is co-funded by the European Commission’s Culture Programme, in the context of the SOCCOS project, An European network of sound art residences.
