The sound piece “Four Shepherds” by Duncan Whitley, a Binaural/Nodar associate artist, will be presented as a multi-channel performance at Goldsmiths University in London (UK), as part of Soundfjord’s programming (a London-based art gallery and research group dedicated to sound art).
“Four Shepherds” is a composed sound work produced by Binaural/Nodar of approximately 10 minutes duration, rendered as a 4-channel piece focusing on the voices of 4 shepherds from the village of Covas do Monte, recorded in their daily work, guiding animals to and from the fields to graze.
