Binaural / Nodar will be one of the institutions that will present their experience in the rural context, as part of a session for sharing experiences for rural territories dynamics. The president of Binaural/Nodar Luís Costa will present a multimedia lecture of its different strands of activity: contemporary artistic creation, educational projects in soundscapes, publications of books and CDs and anthropological and ethnomusicological documentation of rural areas.
This initiative is co-funded by the National Rural Network Programme, under the project “Discovering the Rural World” held in partnership with the ANIMAR – Portuguese Association for Rural Development ”
The presentation aims at creating a social gathering for the dissemination of practices for rural development in rural areas, which can favour the rehabilitation of territories, thus promoting the involvement of local people in their own development processes. Aims to contribute to the consolidation, enrichment and visibility of these practices, allowing a debate on community involvement in intervention and development projects.
