The exhibition “Notarium – Cabinet of Small Differences” by the São Paulo-based artists Sérgio Bonilha and Luciana Ohira was inaugurated on September 15th, 2010. The pieces were the result of a meticulous and complex artisanal and electronic work process. The following photos were taken immediately after the exhibition was set up:
One of the works, “Cyclic Flux”, consisted on an acrylic box with Arduino circuits inside that activated four speakers enclosed by glass domes with water inside. The source for this work is the sound piece “Aqueous Creature” based on sounds of the River Paiva and created during the artist residency that the authors did in Nodar in July 2009.
