Within an ongoing partnership between Binaural/Nodar and the Department of Anthropology at ISCTE/IUL, Luís Costa directs a public lecture and a seminar in the context of the Postgraduate Programme in Digital Visual Cultures. The public lecture will address concepts, methodologies and typologies of audiovisual practice in the context of a discussion of social representations systems in rural areas. The seminar will present four audiovisual works recently produced by Binaural/Nodar that illustrate some of the approaches and themes investigated/developed by this cultural organization.
