In partnership with the Master of Contemporary Artistic Creation at the University of Aveiro, Binaural/Nodar scheduled two initiatives in order to raise the awareness of some aspects of its creative work:
Master Class by Pablo Rega (Spain)
18 and March 19, 2010 between 2.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m.
During his stay in Aveiro for a workshop and a concert at Estúdio Performas, the Binaural’s associated artist Pablo Rega will demonstrate in two sessions of three hours some electronic components manipulation for creating sound and light objects.
Conference by Luis Costa and Pablo Rega
March 19, 2010 between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.
Luis Costa, coordinator of Binaural / Nodar will present a lecture entitled “Art and Community in a Rural Village: Nodar Case”, which will address the concepts and methodologies followed by the project of Nodar Artist Residency Center, along with the viewing of two works considered paradigmatic: “Cá # 1” by Manuela Barile and “SimLugares” by Joana Nascimento.
Pablo Rega will in turn deal with their own artistic path, the main lines of action followed, the moments of rupture, accompanied by the listening of some sound works created by him in the recent years.
