Luís Costa, coordinator of Binaural/Nodar will coordinate four sound labs for children, part of Communications Museum’s Easter labs programme, which address several issues related to the perception of sounds that surround us: public space, buildings, audiovisual and communication media and the human voice.

20 March, 10h00 to 13h00
Sound brings to life objects from the collection of the Communications Museum. Sonic reactivation using specific microphones applied to a variety of objects from various ages, uses and materials.

20 March, 14h30 to 17h30
The sound of the Communications Museum as part of the city. The building and the acoustic relationship between the interior and exterior with recordings to be made in corridors, museum’s entrance hall, sounds of the city listened from inside the museum, etc.

26 March, 10h00 to 13h00:
Voice as a recording and expressive device of the world sounds. Vocal imitation and sound imagination games of the telecom world: radio, television, telephones, satellites, etc.

26 March, 14h30 to 17h30:
Let’s imagine a personal audio guide for the Communications Museum. An audio guide as a narrative and subjective tool for the experience of a museum.
