Bus
From Lisbon or Oporto there are several buses a day to Castro Daire, operated by Rede Nacional de Expressos. From there you can take another bus to Nodar’s closest village: Parada de Ester. There are two buses a day operated by Empresa Guedes. Once in Parada de Ester, you are only 3 km away so you can either walk down the hill to Nodar or ask for a lift.

Train
If you come from Spain on the Sud Express train, you should drop off at Mangualde and take three buses: first to Viseu, then to Castro Daire and finally to Parada de Ester. These buses are all operated by "Empresa Guedes".
